(adjective) Hostile, aggressive, and eager to engage in warlike behavior.

EXAMPLE: The bellicose young executive alienated many of his colleagues with his fitful, angry complaints.

這位好斗的年輕高管時不時就發(fā)火抱怨，讓很多同事與他疏遠。

Expression meaning that the most important and necessary things must be done before anything else is started.

EXAMPLE: I tell my son he must finish his homework before he plays basketball because I believe in doing first things first.
