(noun, INFORMAL) A large man, usually one who appears capable of being violent.

EXAMPLE: The strongest man in our family, my enormous brother looks like a real bruiser, but he's actually quite gentle and harmless.

(INFORMAL) A foolish person who is overly generous, and who happily gives money to anyone.
