丟棄（及物動詞）

(transitive verb) To throw something unwanted from a ship; to discard unneeded items.

EXAMPLE: It is illegal for vessels to jettison trash or extra fuel in the harbor.

船只在港口丟棄垃圾或多余燃料是非法行為。

An honest person who never does anything that might be considered wrong.

EXAMPLE: My brother is a straight arrow who always used to tell our parents the truth, which sometimes got me in trouble as a child.
