時過境遷，雅芳鐘彬嫻退居二線

????鐘彬嫻很快就得讓出雅芳（Avon）首席執行官這個炙手可熱的位置，由別人接手。12月份，雅芳公司宣布將把首席執行官和董事長職位一分為二。近年來雅芳面臨諸多挑戰，最近一起即美國證券交易委員會（SEC）針對其海外行賄指控的調查。今年10月，分析人士在雅芳業績電話會議上提出了嚴重警告。

????鐘彬嫻將繼續留在雅芳，擔任臨時首席執行官直到公司找到接替者，屆時她將成為執行董事長。在所有《財富》500強公司的女性首席執行官中，鐘彬嫻的任期最長，超過了十年。但正如鐘彬嫻自己也愿意承認的那樣，與她1999年剛剛出任首席執行官的時候相比，化妝品直銷行業如今面對的已經是一個完全不同的世界。

Avon's corporate makeover

????Someone other than Andrea Jung will soon take the hot seat at Avon. In December, the company announced that it would split the CEO and chairman roles in two. Avon has faced significant hurdles in the past years, most recently an SEC investigation related to allegations of bribery overseas. This past October, analysts read the riot act in a blistering earnings call.

????Jung will stick around, serving as interim CEO until the company finds a replacement, at which point she'll become executive chairman. Out of all the female CEOs at Fortune 500 companies, Jung has held her position the longest, for over a decade. But, as Jung herself seems ready to admit, it's a different world out there for direct-sales cosmetics than it was when she became CEO in 1999.
