“家族企業”讓人不由想到夫妻店，或者氣氛友好的社區餐廳。但事實上，美國許多規模最大的上市公司一開始就是、現在依舊是——家族企業，包括今年的冠軍沃爾瑪。

????Campbell Soup Company ????In 1882, Arthur Dorrance helped Joseph Campbell launch his namesake soup business. Arthur’s nephew John T. Dorrance invented the formula for condensed soup in 1897 and later became company president. His grandchildren Bennett Dorrance and Mary Alice Dorrance Malone and their cousin Charlotte Colket Weber now sit on the board, as does his great-grandson Archbold D. van Beuren. Together, they own 41.8% of Campbell’s outstanding shares. |
