????Glassdoor.com, which has been soliciting salary information from anonymous contributors and publishing the results on the Web since 2008, tried something new two years ago.

????Borrowing a page from the Presidential approval-rating surveys, it asked employees:

????Do you approve of the way your CEO is leading the company?

????Although he's only had the job since last August, Apple (AAPL) CEO Tim Cook came in No. 1 in both this year's Top 10 Tech CEOs list (shown at right) and in the 25 highest-rated CEO list scheduled to be released on Friday.

????In its e-mail to reporters, Glassdoor noted that Amazon's (AMZN) Jeff Bezos is the only CEO on the tech list that didn't make the top 25 list that drew from all U.S. industries.
